Mark Smyly is Physician Assistant born and raised in Coeur d’Alene who is looking forward to joining the OSSM team in the Urgent Care as well as surgical assist. He attended Washington State University and received a Bachelors Degree in Neuroscience prior to marrying his high school sweetheart. Mark then attended his alma mater’s rival University of Washington MEDEX Northwest for a Masters of Clinical Health Services for his Physician Assistant education. After graduating, Mark returned to the local area as a primary care provider, but has always had an interest in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Following and (lightly) participating in sports continues to be one of primary hobbies as well as adventuring outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Mark and his wife had a beautiful daughter in 2021 and are expecting this coming New Year.
