Levi Taylor, PT, DPT is a Physical Therapist at Orthopedic Physical Therapy Institute (OPTI). Levi earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mary and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Colorado Mesa University. He has 14 years of experience in physical therapy, with a particular focus on orthopedic and sports medicine.

Levi has extensive experience treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and injuries. He has a special interest in working with athletes and patients with knee, shoulder, hip, and ankle injuries. His extensive experience as both a physical therapist and volleyball coach gives him a unique perspective when working with athletes. Levi has served as an assistant volleyball coach at Colorado Mesa University, the University of Mary, and Montana State University, and has more than 20 years of experience coaching club volleyball with high school-aged athletes. He has also worked as a strength and conditioning coach for multiple sports teams, giving him a well-rounded understanding of athletic performance, injury prevention, and the physical demands of competitive sports.

Levi’s treatment philosophy centers around creating a warm, engaging environment where patients feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their recovery. He believes that establishing a strong therapeutic alliance is an important part of successful rehabilitation and takes the time to understand each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and individual needs. Levi emphasizes patient education and empowerment, helping patients develop the strength, confidence, and understanding necessary to return to their previous level of function and continue participating in the active lifestyles they enjoy.

Outside of the clinic, Levi is an avid indoor and outdoor volleyball player and has competed at a semi-professional level in beach volleyball. He enjoys staying active, spending time with his family, and continuing to be involved in the sport he has been passionate about throughout his life.
