
At OSSM patients are always going to be treated by a surgeon specializing in their specific problem. OSSM is also the ONLY Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine group that ALL surgeons are Fellowship Trained.

Kris joins the OPTI team having returned to Coeur d’Alene from Kauai island in Hawaii where she has lived and worked for the past 9 years. She took a year off to travel which included living on a Sailing Catamaran and driving across the United States with her family.
Kris was raised in Coeur d’Alene having graduated from Coeur d’Alene High and receiving her AAS Physical Therapist Assistant degree from North Idaho College. She has a passion for health and fitness which inspired her to pursue a career in Physical Therapy. Since graduating in 2001, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings including neuro rehab, aquatic therapy, home health, inpatient, and most extensively in outpatient orthopedics and
sports medicine.
Kris has a patient-centered approach to treatment, utilizing manual skills, postural retraining, patient education regarding their health and fitness, and individualized exercise programs to promote independence and foster self-reliance. Focus of treatment involves assessing the “whole person”, rather than just the parts, to optimize mobility and function. Kris enjoys all things coffee, family time, hiking, swimming, being outdoors, and adventure.
