Bri Downey PT, DPT joined the OPTI team in August 2022. She was born and raised in Avon, Connecticut and found her passion for physical therapy through playing sports and being a patient herself after an injury. She went on to pursue this passion, graduating from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelors in Science in Exercise Science in 2015, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Indiana University in 2022.

Bri enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses. She believes in treating each patient as a whole, incorporating functional activities and interventions targeted at each specific patient. She utilizes both manual therapy and exercise in order to return patients to full pain-free function. She develops strong relationships with her patients and educates them to take their health into their own hands in order to improve their condition.

When not working, Bri enjoys hiking, watching football, cooking, and exploring her new home in the Pacific Northwest.
