At OSSM patients are always going to be treated by a surgeon specializing in their specific problem. OSSM is also the ONLY Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine group that ALL surgeons are Fellowship Trained.

 

Each of our physicians are board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS), meaning they have met the rigorous education, evaluation, and examination requirements of the Board. Our physicians have the experience you can trust, in addition to the nine years of post-collegiate education and training required to become an orthopedic surgeon, all the physicians at OSSM have pursued advanced fellowship training in a number of orthopedic subspecialties. These specialties include adult hip and knee reconstruction (joint replacement), foot and ankle surgery, shoulder, knee and elbow/hand surgery.

PHYSICIAN ASSISTANTS

Jeff Lien, P.A.

Jeff Lien, P.A.

Jeff Lien is an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to Dr. Roger Dunteman. He grew up in Jerome, Idaho and graduated from Jerome High School in 1991. He attended Boise State University where he received two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Athletic training and the other in Health promotion. He continued his education and obtained a Master of Exercise Science degree at Boise State. He was then hired at Boise State University as a full time Associate Athletic Trainer in charge of football, wrestling and track. He then returned to school and obtained his masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in September of 2006. He has been practicing in orthopedics since his graduation and began working with Dr. Dunteman in the spring of 2008. He currently lives in Post Falls. Jeff enjoys spending time with his family and friends, running with his wife and attending sporting events.

Travis Headley, P.A.

Travis Headley is an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to Dr. Doug McInnis. He grew up in Coeur d'Alene and graduated from CDA High in 1990. He attended Washington State where he received his Bachelor of Science in Biology then went to Idaho State University for his Bachelors in Physician Assistant studies and received his degree in 2002. He did a 2 1/2 year Physician Assistant residency in Bonners Ferry at the Community Health Center, and has been practicing in orthopedics since 2004. He currently lives in Post Falls. Travis enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Kyle Havercroft, P.A.

Kyle Havercroft, P.A.

Kyle is a Licensed Physician Assistant to Dr. Jonathan King and Dr. Gregory Keese. He Provides a full range of care for active individuals of all skill levels: clinical diagnosis, emergency care, rehabilitation of injuries, therapeutic and preventative counseling. He served Spokane Shock of the Arena Football League, athletes at Joel E. Ferris and West Valley High School, participants at numerous sporting events and WIAA state tournaments in the Spokane area. Kyle has many professional memberships including: the Washington State Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Trainers Association.

Chad Bailey

Chad Bailey, N.P.

Chad Bailey is a Nurse Practitioner working for the surgeons at OSSM. He graduated from WSU in 2001 with his master’s degree in nursing. Chad has spent his career working in orthopedics. He has extensive experience in fracture care, sports medicine, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, foot/ankle and spine. He has lived in the area since 2011 and enjoys and is an avid skier/mountain biker.

Josh Lute, PA-C

Josh Lute is a Physician Assistant at OSSM, he is seeing patients in the Urgent Care and assisting in surgery. He attended Boise State University and received a Bachelors Degree in Respiratory Therapy, 2010. Following that he worked as an RT at a level 1 trauma center until attending NOVA Southeastern University and received Masters of Medical Science Physician Assistant, 2015. He has since worked solely in orthopedics with experience in orthopedic urgent care, hand/upper extremity surgery, and sports medicine surgery. He enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his family.
