We offer a wide variety of services and procedures.
- Foot & Ankle: We offer full foot and ankle services from general physical therapy to fracture care.
- Hip Resurfacing: Hip resurfacing is an alternative to total hip replacement aimed toward active adults who, historically, have an increased risk for failure of a conventional hip replacement. It allows patients to have their artritic, damaged hip bones reshaped and resurfaced, not removed.
- Joint Replacement: Joint Replacement & Arthritis Surgery at OSSM offers comprehensive care for patients with arthritic and pre-arthritic conditions, and sports-related injuries of the hip, knee and shoulder.
- Knee: If your knee is severely damaged by arthritis or injury, it may be hard for you to perform simple activities such as walking or climbing stairs. You may even begin to feel pain while you are sitting or lying down. If medications, changing your activity level, and using walking supports are no longer helpful, you may want to consider total knee replacement surgery. By resurfacing the damaged and worn surfaces of the knee we can relieve pain, correct leg deformity and help resume normal activities.
- Pain Management: Our patients should keep in mind that there are many varieties of pain management programs to explore. At OSSM we work with physical thearpists to help you recover quickly. There if significant challenges for patients enduring pain. However, once you find an pain management and/or physical thearpy approach that you are comfortable with, your condition should improve.
- Shoulders: The shoulder consists of several joints that combine with muscles to allow a wide range of motion to the arm. At OSSM our surgeons specialize in all aspects of shoulder care, including the treatment of disorders of the rotator cuff, instability and other disabling shoulder conditions.
- Sports Medicine: Sports Medicine specialys in preventing, diagnosing and treating injuries related to participating in sports and/or exercise, specifically the rotation or deformation of joints or muscles caused by engaging in such physical activities.
- Work-Related Injuries: We only treat workers with State of Idaho Workers compensation claims.
